Fave Foods

I love trying new recipes, experimenting with unfamiliar ingredients, and being adventurous in my culinary endeavors… However, there are some things that I always have on hand and which I eat on a regular basis. Here are some foods you will always find in my kitchen.

Chillin’ in the fridge (…get it?):

  • Soy milk (8th Continent and Silk are my choice brands)
  • Almond milk
  • Sprouts
  • Hummus
  • Feta cheese
  • Fat-free shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella)
  • Salsa
  • Lemon juice
  • Vitamin water
  • Salad dressing- raspberry vinaigrette, Italian
  • Kalamata olives
  • Vegetables- grape tomatoes, spinach, zucchini, cucumber

The Freezer:

  • Frozen pizzas- Kashi mediterranean pizza, Kashi black bean pizza, Publix spinach feta pizza
  • Frozen blueberries
  • Veggie burgers

The Pantry:

  • Pita bread
  • Whole grain bread
  • Variety of whole grains- couscous, bulghur wheat, pasta, brown rice
  • Quick oats
  • Nuts- walnuts and almonds are my go-to nuts
  • Cereal- Kashi Toasted Berry Crumble, Special K Protein
  • Granola- Cascadian Farms Nut & Berry
  • Almond butter
  • Peanut butter
  • Tortilla chips
  • Nutrition bars- Clif bars, KIND bars, Kashi, ThinkThin
  • Tea- green tea, chai tea… (white tea, black tea, any tea)
  • Truvia zero-calorie sweetener

The Fruit Bowl:

  • Bananas
  • Apples- Fuji and Honeycrisp
  • Strawberries
  • Grapes
  • Avocados
