Food just so happens to be one of my greatest loves in life. I do not abuse it and I certainly don’t let it abuse me. I would like to say that we have a very loving and healthy relationship transpiring.

I eat a diet full of fruits, veggies, whole grains, nuts, yogurt, desserts, and much more. I avoid processed foods as much as possible. In regards to my meat-eating habits, my diet consists primarily of plants and grains. I cook fish every now and then, will grill up a chicken sausage on a warm summer evening, and sometimes even order a turkey sandwich when I go out to eat. I still do not eat red meat whatsoever, and I never will. I also try to avoid poultry as much as possible, since it really is a pretty nasty process. I don’t obsess though, and I don’t feel guilty when I do order the occasional turkey burger.

I believe strongly in having balance. I believe in cookies, I believe in lasagna, and I sure as hell believe in pizza and beer. Mostly anything in moderation isn’t going to kill you. Make a conscious effort to eat “real” unprocessed foods whenever possible, and you will be on the right track.
