This popular breakfast was developed in the early 1900’s by a Swiss nutritionist. It is a cereal made up of uncooked rolled oats, fruit, and nuts which can either be eaten raw or soaked overnight. I was first introduced to muesli my freshman year of college when one of the campus dining restaurants offered it, and it quickly became my go-to breakfast.

Makes 4 servings


    • 2 cups rolled oats
    • 2 1/2 cups non-dairy milk
    • 1 large apple, chopped
    • 1/2 cup sliced strawberries
    • 1/2 cup raisins
    • 1/2 cup walnuts
    • 1 Tbsp honey

Allow oats to soak in the milk overnight. In the morning, add all remaining ingredients. This can be made in large batches at the beginning of the week and enjoyed every morning as a quick, no-prep breakfast.
