Book Review: Carrots ‘N’ Cake

Part autobiography, part cookbook, part healthy living guide, Tina Haupner gives the world a closer peek into her blogger life in her newly released book Carrots ‘N’ Cake.

Carrots ‘N’ Cake was one of the first blogs that I started following preceding my decision to start a blog of my own. What I loved most about Carrots ‘N’ Cake was its well-rounded approach to life. Tina advocates a life that makes room for fun and indulgency. Healthy living is not about waking up every morning striving for perfection. You do not need to abolish all of life’s pleasures in order to lead a healthy lifestyle.

Tina spends every day striving for a balance between nourishment and indulgency, hence the appropriately titled “Carrots ‘N’ Cake.” She uses this book as an opportunity to tell her story, present her flaws, and show everyone that she is just like everybody else. Carrots ‘N’ Cake is fun, informative, and 100% honest. It is also filled with some delicious, healthy, and easy recipes, so pick up a copy; get reading, get healthy, and get cooking!
